The Ancient Animal Wisdom Deck and Book Set is beautifully illustrated - very colorful and visually appealing. What I find very special about this deck is that a) all of the animals are ones found in Africa (mostly in Zambia) and b) underneath the English name for the animal, you will find the African name, which I love! This lovely sacred art sculpture is entitled "Butterfly," a clay sculpture in browns & tans depicting a woman rejoicing, her butterfly wings extended. In the lower part of her body is a woman's face, arms and chest area bursting upward (she has antennae). Beautiful and intricate! Artemis, laying on a tree stump, is surrounded by forest animals as they grieve the loss of forests and pray for the protection of the forests we have left. Artemis (removable) holds the hope of new growth in her hands, near her heart. "Clay impressions for this sculpture were taken from the bark of five-hundred-year-old Douglas Fir trees near Fall Creek, Oregon. Approximately 3" across at its base.

This lovely sacred art sculpture is entitled Riverkeeper Water is a source life for all of us and is sacred in its own right. We must be thankful for our waters and keep them safe and clean for all beings on the planet - human, animal & plant life. The cotton at the bottom of the sculpture is for collecting drops of water from sacred sites or ceremonies. From the cotton it wicks up into the sculpture and holds the energy of the site or ceremony. The Sculpture is approximately 3" tall.
