The Ancient Animal Wisdom Deck and Book Set is beautifully illustrated - very colorful and visually appealing. What I find very special about this deck is that a) all of the animals are ones found in Africa (mostly in Zambia) and b) underneath the English name for the animal, you will find the African name, which I love! For all of the animals from Zambia (most of them) the local language, Nyanja, is used. For any animals in other regions of Africa, the closest local language was used. I also like the fact that, in the guidebook, they include information about numerology and supply meanings for each number so you can do your reading with the number in mind as well as the photo and the given card meaning. This deck includes 38 cards, a guidebook and a box for storing them. The creators of this deck are Stacy James and Jada Fire. Stacy James is a "creative intuitive, guide, teacher, writer and lover of all living things...she has spent the majority of her life in service to others' personal growth." Jada Fire is "an innovative painter, illustrator, writer, yoga dancer, performer, yogini."
