Lovely sacred art sculpture called New Growth. Artemis is surrounded by forest animals as they grieve the loss of forests and pray for the protection of the forests we have left. Artemis (removable) holds the hope of new growth in her hands, near her heart. "Clay impressions for this sculpture were taken from the bark of five-hundred-year-old Douglas Fir trees near Fall Creek, Oregon. Fifty acres of these rare trees are being preserved in the Willamette National Forest. There are very few virgin old growth trees left in the Pacific Northwest due to clear cutting." Sculpture is approximately 3" across at its base.
This beautiful sacred art sculpture can be placed on your altar, used in sacred ceremony or placed in your home or office anywhere to remind you of the importance and need for our forests and the animals who live in them. This and their many other sacred clay sculptures (see others in my store) are created in Oregon and their deeply inspired and award winning line of clay designs is hand-detailed and finished by the two owners with seasonal help from local artists.
Please Note: Purchase is for one sacred art sculpture - other items in the photos are for décor/display only.
